Welcome to Mae’s Bakeshop
Located in New Orleans, Louisiana, Mae’s Bakeshop is a small business bakery specializing in refined American bakery classics such as decorated cakes, cookies, cinnamon rolls, biscuits, and pies. We’re inspired by generations of women in our family who were great cooks and bakers. We feature quite a few family recipes, like Grandma’s Sour Cream Pound Cake and our cinnamon rolls.

We make cakes for any occasion! We have a number of cake flavors, fillings, and icings available to help you create the perfect cake for your celebration. All of our cakes, fillings, and icings are made from scratch with high quality ingredients. No boxed mixes or commercial flavor.

Our Story
Our little bakery began as home-based bakery at the beginning of the pandemic, then grew to a popup and farmers market vendor before finding a permanent home in Uptown New Orleans. We're inspired by old family recipes and nostalgic American baked goods and pastries. We're just getting started and we hope to continue to grow and share our stories with y'all.
